NOTIFICATION

No.AR-3/GEN-255/2012:- In pursuance of the Cabinet decision vide OM No. CAB-2/2013 dated 6th March, 2020, the Governor of Nagaland is pleased to constitute a Review Committee on Job Reservation Policy in the State to examine and review the existing reservation policy of the State for various categories of posts in Government services. The Committee is constituted with the following members:

  1. Shri. J Alam, ACS (CMO) & Dev. Commissioner Nagaland            : Chairperson
  2. Home Commissioner,Home Department                             : Member
  3. Secretary, DUDA                                                                         : Member
  4. Secretary, Justice & Law Department                                     : Member
  5. Commissioner & Secretary, P&AR Department                   : Member
  6. Additional Secretary, P&AR Department(OM Branch)       : Member Secretary

The terms of reference of the Committee will be:-

  1.  To examine and review the existing reservation policy of the State for various categories of posts in Government services.
  2. In view of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act of 2016, the vertical reservation provided in the roster under Notification No. RCBT-5/887 (Pt-II) dated 14th April, 2011 for Persons with Disabilities stands annulled since horizontal reservation is to be provided for Persons with Disabilities under the new Act.
  3. The Committee will submit its recommendation in three months.

Further, the Review Committee on Job Reservation Policy which was constituted vide Notification No AR-3/Gen-255/2012 dated 5th August,2019 stands dissolved.
